No. 22 Xavier hands No. 2 UConn its first loss 83-73

CINCINNATI (AP) — Colby Jones added 16 points, Zach Freemantle added 16 points, and No. 22 Xavier defeated No. 2 UConn 83-73 on Saturday. This was No. 2 UConn’s first loss of the year.

Xavier: Turnovers have been an issue for the Musketeers, who averaged 14.1 turnovers this season coming off 15 or more. They only had five turnovers in the second half on Saturday after having seven in the first half.
